Sprout Fiber — From Complexity to Clarity
How Capcon replaced 4–5 separate vendors, then cut outage restoration time by more than half.

High-capacity transport
Going straight to infrastructure owners sounds efficient. In practice it caps your routes and your pricing power.
Dark fiber and IRU procurement requires relationships you don't have yet.Every fiber infrastructure owner in every market is a separate commercial negotiation. Without existing relationships, you're entering those conversations at a disadvantage on price, route priority, and lead time.
Route options stay limited when a single carrier doesn't cover your path end to end. Most carriers own dense fiber in their core markets and thin coverage everywhere else. If your path crosses their footprint boundary, the route gets handed off, the SLA gets complicated, and your leverage disappears.
There's no competitive pricing when only one provider sits at the table.Transport pricing is a negotiation. Without the ability to put multiple bids against each other, you're accepting the first number you get instead of the right one. We change that dynamic by bringing your requirement to a full carrier network, not just whoever's easiest to reach.
Wavelength →
Dedicated DWDM channels with the isolation of dark fiber, without committing to the full strand.
Dark fiber →
Your fiber, your rules - IRU and lit options across mapped routes, handled end to end.
Ethernet →
Scalable point-to-point and multipoint links from 10G to 100G+ across our carrier network.
Dedicated DWDM capacity on the routes you need, with the performance isolation of dark fiber and without full-strand commitment.
Wavelength services provision a dedicated optical channel on existing fiber infrastructure, giving you a private, predictable path between endpoints at high speeds - typically 10G, 100G, or 400G. Because the channel is dedicated, performance doesn't depend on what adjacent traffic is doing. Right for organizations with sustained high-bandwidth requirements between two fixed points who need dark-fiber-grade isolation without the capital commitment of a full strand.
Best for
Carriers, data center operators, and enterprises running latency-sensitive or bandwidth-intensive workloads between two fixed locations - particularly those with predictable, sustained traffic that makes a dedicated channel more economical than switched transport.
Dedicated optical channel
Your wavelength is a single, reserved DWDM channel. Bandwidth and latency don't fluctuate with adjacent traffic, and there's no contention at the optical layer between your traffic and anyone else's.
Speeds from 10G to 400G+
Provisioned at the capacity your path needs today, with an upgrade path as requirements grow. Higher speeds don't require new fiber - the channel capacity scales within the existing DWDM system.
Managed provisioning and circuit oversight
We handle the end-to-end provisioning across carrier and colocation boundaries, and the circuit appears in ClearView for ongoing monitoring. One point of contact for the route, the SLA, and any fault resolution.
Unlit fiber on the routes that matter - IRU and lit options, fully managed through carrier procurement.
Dark fiber puts physical fiber infrastructure under your control, letting you run your own optical equipment and set your own capacity ceiling. We source IRU and lit dark fiber routes across mapped carrier infrastructure, handle the commercial and legal work, and manage the carrier relationship on your behalf. Right for operators and carriers who need maximum flexibility and control over the physical layer without building direct fiber infrastructure relationships in every market.
Best for
ISPs, carriers, and data center operators who need full control over optical layer configuration and capacity, particularly those deploying their own DWDM equipment or building long-haul routes where IRU economics are favorable over leased wavelength.
IRU and lit options across carrier routes
Access to both indefeasible right-of-use fiber (IRU) and lit dark fiber across our carrier network. IRU fits long-term infrastructure buildouts; lit options work where shorter commitment terms or faster provisioning are the priority.
Your equipment, your capacity ceiling
Dark fiber lets you run your own optical gear on the strand. Capacity is limited only by the equipment you deploy - not by a carrier's provisioned channel or service tier.
Carrier relationship managed for you
We handle contract negotiation, route confirmation, cross-connect coordination, and the ongoing carrier relationship. You get the control of owning the fiber layer without building direct relationships with every infrastructure owner in every market.
Point-to-point and multipoint Ethernet from 10G to 100G+, sourced across our carrier network for the route and price that fit.
Ethernet services provide dedicated Layer 2 connectivity between endpoints - E-Line for point-to-point links and E-LAN for multipoint configurations - at speeds from 10G to 100G and beyond. Because Ethernet is provisioned as a dedicated circuit rather than shared switched infrastructure, you get predictable performance and a clear SLA. We source across our full carrier network so the route matches your geography and the price reflects real competition.
Best for
Enterprises and carriers connecting fixed locations with predictable, high-bandwidth traffic - data center interconnects, campus backbones, and multi-site enterprise networks where Layer 2 adjacency or a simple, accountable transport SLA is the requirement.
E-Line and E-LAN configurations
Point-to-point E-Line for location-to-location links, E-LAN for multipoint topologies connecting three or more sites on a common Layer 2 domain. Right configuration for the network design, not a one-size approach.
Carrier-sourced across the full network
We put your Ethernet requirement out across our carrier network and return the options that actually fit your route. Pricing reflects real competition, not a single provider's rate card.
Consistent performance SLA
Dedicated Ethernet circuits come with defined latency, jitter, and availability commitments. Performance doesn't drift with traffic load on shared infrastructure, and fault resolution runs through one NOC regardless of which underlying carrier provisions the route.
Track every service from order through activation. View service details, provisioning milestones, contract terms, and monthly costs in one place. Execute changes - upgrades, moves, modifications, reterminations - on demand, without opening a support ticket. Technical documents are available for download at any stage.
Your requirement goes out to real options at every endpoint, not just whoever's easiest for one carrier to provision.

It means a lot when a coop stands behind a vendor, so I was eager to see what Capcon Networks was all about.
Mark Freeman
VP of Network Operations, Sprout Fiber Internet
Routes that reflect the whole market, not one provider's footprint. We source wavelengths, dark fiber, and Ethernet across a deep carrier network. Your requirement goes out to real options, and what comes back fits your path instead of whoever has the easiest provisioning in that market.
One team from sourcing to SLA to fault resolution. Wavelength, dark fiber, and Ethernet circuits are all managed by the same NOC. When something needs adjusting or something goes wrong, there's one escalation path, not a sourcing team, a provisioning team, and a carrier support queue all running separately.
Every circuit in one view, whatever carrier runs it. Wavelengths, dark fiber, and Ethernet all appear in ClearView regardless of the underlying carrier. Performance data, SLA reporting, and circuit status in one place, without logging into separate carrier portals to piece together your transport layer.
